Design Modelling & Fabrication Lab.

About us.

The DMaF Lab is a prototyping lab and makerspace in the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

DMaF Lab is focused on design technologies, prototyping and the built-environment. The lab houses fabrication tech including laser cutters, robotic arms, CNC milling machines and 3D Printers, alongside analogue making methods and materials such as timber, ceramics and metalworking.

Access to the DMaF Lab is subject to the completion of the required inductions. Check our Access pages for induction information, and Our Labs for a comprehensive look at our facilities.

The Lab is run by a team of technical staff with a broad range of knowledge and expertise who provide assistance, training and advice for students, staff and researchers. Please contact us if you have any questions.
